Holy Baptism is the sacramental rite whereby an individual becomes a member of Christ’s body, the Church. Baptism may be administered to a child or an adult. It is customary that a period of instruction precedes baptism. Baptisms are most appropriately celebrated during the Great Vigil Of Easter (The evening before Easter), All Saints Day (The Sunday closest to Nov. 1st ), The Feast of Pentecost (usually occuring in June), and The Feast of The Baptism Of Our Lord (The first Sunday after January 6th). Other dates may be considered, depending on circumstances that make these recommended dates impractical.
If you desire to be baptized or have a child baptized, please contact Fr. Seth through the office.
